25/04/2015 - Football Predictions

1-1

The return of Mauricio Pochettino to St.Mary's will certainly excite the home crowd, but I fear we will be in for a very lacklustre game. Having seen Southampton labour to 3 wins in their last 9 league matches, and Spurs to 4 wins in their last 12 games, this game promises very little in terms of excitement, even with both teams striving to pip Liverpool to 5th. One of the best defences in the laegue comes up against one of the best goalscorers in the league, as 15 clean sheet Southampton will look to cancel out Harry Kane, and I don't think the young Englishman will prevail. I'm going for 1 goal each, a Christian Eriksen free kick saving a point for Pochettino's men.

13/04/2015 - Liverpool vs Newcastle - Football Prediction

Liverpool host Newcastle today knowing that a successful season for them now is an FA Cup win and 5th place in the league. The pressure is on them to win every game left in the season, and we see this as a regulation win against a side with the second worst Premiership record in 2015 (just 9 points), a team that have lost four of their last 5 Premier League games. Without Balotelli and Lallana, Liverpool will still be far too strong for The Magpies, and the likes of Henderson, Coutinho and Sterling will help guide Liverpool to a strong victory.

Prediction: 3-1

Masters 2015 - Can Anyone Catch Spieth?

Record breaker Jordan Spieth seems impossible to catch right now, after hitting an all time low of 130 over the first 2 days. In our preview we warned people to look out for him, but I'm not sure anyone expected him to produce such a brilliant display, and to leave everyone else so far behind. Can anyone catch him? We'll look at the guys in the field that still stand a slim chance, never rule out the chance of a comeback, you only need to look at McIlroy's collapse a few years ago to realise that this isn't over just yet, there is a lot of golf left to play.

Masters 2015 - Day 1 As It Happened

The 79th Masters started today, and one man shot in to an early lead. With 2 birdies in his first 3 holes, Charley Hoffman sat atop the leader board at Augusta, the same course where he achieved his best Major position of T27 in 2011, the only time he has played the competition. Hardly a household name, the 38 year-old Californian was never expected to keep up this level of golf and sure enough bogeyed the 4th to join Gary Woodland and Vijay Singh, the big Fijian having birdied the first.

5 Golfers Who Might Win The Green Jacket At The Masters 2015

Rory McIlroy

Of course we start with world number 1 Rory McIlroy, who is looking to complete his Grand Slam at Augusta with his first ever Green Jacket. Finishing 8th last year, the Northern Irishman will be desperate for this win to join golf's elite, but in order to do so the 25 year old will need to be on top form as there are plenty of others hungry for the win. Although everything has yet to click for Rory, with his skill you have to say he is a definite contender, but below are four more players who will be vying for the title at Augusta.

04/04/2015 - Football Predictions

Arsenal vs Liverpool

After a disappointing loss to Manchester United, Liverpool will look to bounce back here against Arsenal, a side that have won 9 of their last 10 league matches. The Gunners are in good form and should be able to see off the Reds, especially at home with their 8 consecutive home victories. Whilst Liverpool have looked stronger in 2015 than they did at the end of 2014, so have Arsenal, and at home I can only see a victory for the team that claimed March's Manager of the Month and Player of the Morth - Arsenal

Prediction: 3-1
