England's Most Exciting XV - Would Lancaster Ever Dare?

Bare in mind this is just a bit of fun, although these players lack the complete game, there is no doubt that they are very interesting to watch, and are all worth considering for the England XV. This is not the team we want to see Lancaster field, it is purely for a laugh,

Back 3: Anthony Watson, Christian Wade & Jack Nowell

Pace. This back 3 is quick, like you wouldn't believe, and could only be made quicker by the inclusion of Jonny May over Jack Nowell, but this 6 Nations Nowellsy made looked threatening every time he touched the ball, and made some scintillating breaks, earning himself a spot in our team of the tournament. Wade has huge public support for his inclusion in the side, because of the sensational tries he has scored in the Premiership this season. The try at the Ricoh against Saracens showed sensational pace, skill and intelligence, and will be a contender for try of the season, and it is the sort of show-stopping material that would be brilliant for the England side. Anthony Watson didn't set the 6 Nations alight, but played at full back he is more exciting than Mike Brown, with his sheer acceleration and ability to leave his opponents in the dust, he is the kind of player that could have accelerated away from Stuart Hogg at Twickenham, and scored a try that would ultimately have won the 6 Nations for England.

Centres: Jonathan Joseph & Kyle Eastmond

JJ showed exactly how exciting he can be in the 6 Nations, and his Bath team mate will only help create him more opportunities, and will run the ball himself, and for a small guy he has a lot of power, backed up with a huge amount of pace. Elliot Daly was unfortunate not to make it, but this combination is stunning to watch, and can cause mayhem in the midfield. They would also be helped massively by their team mate playing 10 in our side...

Half Backs: George Ford & Joe Simpson

George Ford has created fantastic opportunities for the England backs, and also taken opportunities himself, and whilst Cipriani is another exciting player, it is George Ford that gets the nod, especially in the hope he could link up with his Bath team mates. Joe Simpson is lightning quick, and if he sees even the tiniest gap he can accelerate in to it and be away. Ben Youngs was incredible against France, but Simpson is the more consistently exciting player.

Front Row: Mako Vunipola, Tom Youngs & Kyle Sinckler

Exciting front rows are difficult to come by, but we've gone for three strong ball carrying front rowers. Tom Youngs, centre turned hooker, runs very well, even though he did throw a disgusting pass against the French. Sinckler sneaks in ahead of Cole, which was a tough call, because there was nothing more exciting than seeing Dan Cole use his head to dismiss Cian Healy in the 6 Nations.

Second Row: Courtney Lawes & Joe Launchbury

England's most exciting second rowers are their preferred second rowers, in the athletic monsters Courtney Lawes and Joe Launchbury. Strong ball carriers, massive tacklers (just see Lawes's hit on Plisson), these guys are only challenged by the young Maro Itoje, who is an incredible youngster knocking on England's door.

Back Row: Dave Ewers, Steffon Armitage & Billy Vunipola

The big blokes will smash their way through the opposition, and will have the crowd on their feet with every defender left crumpled in a heap. This combination has me salivating. Tom Croft would have made it if he wasn't injured, seeing the big man sprint home from 40 metres out is always incredible, and it is a shame we probably won't see him in an England shirt again.

Obviously this team has certain defensive liabilities, and probably lacks another kicking option in the backs. They may not be the best side if England want to win the big games, but this would certainly be the side that replicates that final day England vs France feeling week in week out. If you think we've left anyone out let us know!

(Formatting is a pain when player's don't have the official pictures, apologies, I may sort that out in the near future.)
