Kenny Logan's Reaction To Australia vs Scotland

This was really poor from Logan to jump on Joubert's back immediately, he talks about reflecting on what had happened when hardly a minute had gone by and he had no time to gather the facts of to properly analyse what had just happened.

Logan complains about Joubert not going to the TMO, however World Rugby stated that Joubert could not have gone to the TMO for the last penalty, and then Logan complains about the yellow card for Sean Maitland, when Joubert did in fact go to the TMO.

As for Joubert running off the pitch, maybe it had something to do with the plastic bottle thrown at him, or as the BBC are reporting that he needed the toilet (although that seems a bit odd).

I understand that passions and emotions were running high, but he calls him "inept" for not going to the TMO, which he couldn't, and then he calls him a "scared rabbit", its quite embarrassing. He should have waited to have his information before vilifying the referee, by all means share your opinions, but lets hold off on saying he should never ref again. Rugby fans all over the world feel sorry for the Scots after what happened here, but no Englishmen feel sorry for Kenny Logan after taking this picture when Wales beat England in the pool stages...

He also says Scotland were outstanding, which they weren't, they got gifted points through an intercept, a chargedown and non-existant defending at a ruck. Their poor defence, as usual, led to plenty of tries being run in against them, even when Australia did their very best to give the Scots some points.

Well done to the Scots for hanging in there, but if Australia had played to a remotely average standard the game would have been won by then anyway.

But it wasn't, and with the recent revelation that World Rugby have said Joubert was wrong with his decision, it makes it a bitter pill to swallow. But they have to do exactly that, just swallow it, and stop detracting from what was yet another very close encounter between two seemingly unmatched sides at this Rugby World Cup. Every team has to deal with bad refereeing decisions, the Samoans and the Japanese feel pretty hard done by that a certain Tuilagi couldn't play for Samoa against the Scots when all he did was simply run into a player. That would have put the Japan rugby team in Scotlands spot instead, so if World Rugby and referees got everything right it looks as if Scotland wouldn't even have had this opportunity.

So for goodness sake, lets remember this game for being another outstanding match in a thrilling World Cup, and move on. It is best for the memory of the match, the Scotland rugby team, and rugby in general. Move on Kenny Logan.
