22/02/2015 - Football Predictions

After correctly predicting 2 scores yesterday and getting other results correct, we're going to try out hand at predicting two of the afternoon kick-offs today.

2-0

After the recent demoliton of Young Boy's I see Everton claiming another victory today. A second win in 12 matches is not impressive reading, but the momentum from that game should carry them over the line against Leicester, a side that have lost 9 of their last 11 away games. Everton need a change of fortune in the Premier League and this is their opportunity, expect them to take it.

1-2

With Shane Long and Morgan Schneiderlin back after injury for this game, and a higher league position than their opponents, many will expect Southampton, with home advantage, to beat the Reds today. However, Sterling could be fit for Liverpool today, and although Steven Gerrard is missing with a hamstring injury Liverpool are unbeaten in 9 Premier League games, and Southampton have been a little inconsistent of late, with goals drying up for star man Pelle. A close game in which Liverpool come out on top.
