England vs Scotland - Preview

Scotland have a lot to prove on Saturday against the English, and a usually intense match will have even more pressure on it on Saturday as the Auld Enemies face each other. England will look to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Ireland by playing some expansive rugby, especially now that points difference could be telling for the 6 Nations title. The return of Courtney Lawes and Mike Brown will delight the English fans, although judging from our poll here they would have liked to see more changes.

Scotland have also made changes, they see Dave Denton return to the side, along with Russell and Hamilton, and all three of these changes seem positive for the Scottish side, however they have been forced into making 2 other changes due to knee injuries, Scott in for Dunbar and Fife in for Lamont, and in particular the loss of Dunbar will worry the Scottish side, even if he wasn't as influential in the last round as many hoped he would be.

For us, the match is a foregone conclusion, a Scottish side that lost at home to Italy have to come to the same place where The Azzurri got thumped by expansive, attacking rugby, and England will look to put on a display against the Scots and chase down the Irish points difference. England are the better side in every department on the pitch, they will look to reassert their dominance in the pack and the backs will be crying out for an opportunity to show what they can do. I think Jack Nowell will have a good game tomorrow, and England will win by more than 16.
